A volleyball court is one place I learn about people.
I’m Jana Kulan, a former professional volleyball player who moved into coaching and coach education. My work has taken me through different teams, countries, cultures and learning environments, including national-team coaching and FIVB coach education.
I’m interested in the space between the technical game and the people playing, teaching and organising it: how we learn, what happens under pressure, and how the environment I help create can change someone’s behaviour.
Before the label,
one more question.
Not listening. Not ready. Bad attitude. I want to slow down those quick explanations. Asking one more question gives me a little space to look at what might sit underneath them.
